Krupa Arogya Suraksha (KAS)
is a social security scheme promoted by Shree Krishna Arogya Trust, a charitable organisation supported by Charutart Arogya Mandal. The scheme is aimed at extending the safety net of modern health facilities & services to communities living in the villages and towns of the districts of Kheda & Anand.

The scheme envisages an affordable annual subscription or one lifetime subscription by a family participating in KAS for a limited free treatment of any illness requiring Indoor admission for which Shree Krishna Hospital or any other hospital nominated by Shree Krishna hospital for the purpose has the facilities and services. The scheme does not cover free treatment or other services for outdoor patients.


Who can be a subscriber for KAS?

Any person between the age 91 days and 60 years of age residing in any village or town of the districts of Kheda & Anand may subscribe and participate in KAS.

 

Regular ailments requiring indoors-patient services

All diseases/ ailments of a general order requiring indoor patient admission at a designated hospital would be treated up to a maximum limit of billed expenses based on a corresponding annual subscription for KAS.

 

Additional benefits for subscribers of KAS

  • The following concessions are being provided by Shree Krishna Hospital as an introductory offer:
    • A 10% discount if all members of a family are enrolled.
    • A 10% concession on the diagnostic services during outpatient consultations, ambulance facility and pathology services.
    • A 5% discount on the medicines purchased from the Pharmacy of Shree Krishna Hospital.
  • In case of non-utilisation of any services of KAS during the specified period, the ceiling for the next year's scheme would be increased by 10%. This facility would be offered for a maximum of 2 years. Thereafter, the amount of ceiling would remain the same for the amount of subscription corresponding to original ceiling.
  • Maternity cases for normal treatments as well as for Caesarean cases will be accepted for the first two children for KAS subscribers.
  • On a one time additional annual payment of Rs.60/- per person, the KAS subscriber may seek free OPD consultation services at Shree Krishna Hospital. For a payment of Rs.250/-, the entire family of up to 5 members would be eligible for free OPD consultations. The cost of investigations, diagnostic procedures and medicines would continue to be payable subject to the other conditions of the offer.
  • A grace period of 1 month (maximum) for renewal of KAS subscription will be given.
